Research and Planning: More photos

This is the main picture for my front cover that will be on my magazine.  I picked this over the rest of the pictures that I took. This was the best quality out of all the ones that I took an also this was the best expression out of all of the pictures, he had the angry look to him on this picture so I picked this over the rest of them.

The reason for me picking this picture is because I needed a picture of a instrument to fill the space for a competition, so I got a picture of a guitar that was in my house.

I was able to make a small amount of changes to my magazine in this session.  I am unsure if I want to add some more colours into the house style to create something more interesting to look at.  On the main image on the double page spread I need to add some text or something to fill some of the space around it, at the moment it looks to simple and too plain to look at.

The main time used today was making the changes to my magazine cover. As soon as I have that finished, I can move on and finish off the rest. The text box in the centre is something I will have to change because it looks to simple and the text under the title is too small and you can hardly read it.

After looking at a different style of a Kerrang magazine, I was looking at the look of my pictures and text and thought it would look a lot better in a darker house style, so I have gone for this kind of colour style with the black and white colours used.

I have pick a different colour style to go with my magazine.  After my audience feedback on my drafts, a lot of people said to have the colours Red, Yellow and black, so I started to make my magazine look like that using those colours.  After looking a different style of a Kerrang magazine, I liked the colour style of Blue, white, black and yellow.  I think I am going to start changing all of my current work into the same colour of the Magazine that I have found. I will post a picture of the cover that I have found.

After getting the feedback, I changed the picture that will be on the front of my magazine.  I think that on this picture has more of the look of what the rock magazine style should have.

This is the current state that my work is at.  I need to add my story to the double page spread to fill the space and I also need a few more pictures for my contents page and maybe one smaller one for my front cover to fill space and relate to some of the stories that are on my contents

These are all some of the picture that I have took to be used for my magazine.  

The reason for me doing the pictures like this way is because I wanted one side to have the model on and then on the other I wanted the text. I won't be using this one due to Luke messing about during the Photo.

The reason for me taking so many pictures is so that I wouldn't have to re take my pictures.  Anyone of these photo's would do but I wanted to make sure that I had a good one when I looked at them in Photoshop. 

I would have being using this photo for my cover but I wasn't able to use any of them because Luke was wearing the same clothes as the double page spread.
